Samsung Galaxy S4- tai HTC yksi

HTC One and the Galaxy S4.

The battle lines quickly made two 2013 's hottest Android smartphones-phones, which by the way is not a lot of people are really touched yet--one of the HTC DESIRE and Samsung Galaxy S4. HTC one is right now will be on sale in Europe. We are still waiting for all United States air carriers to inform either the phones.

We have been using HTC for one week. (I've been using it as my main device really.) And we got to spend some time with the Samsung Galaxy S4 on Thursday in New York. And we have to put both phones against each other.

How To Do? People will have a tough decision to make.

Read the Samsung Galaxy S4 compared to HTC, one of the original ideas.

The two ends of the spectrum of manufacturing. HTC has gone (almost) all aluminium HTC one. Samsung with what seems like the same plastic (polycarbonate, you can hear them say) as the previous device. Both have their merits. HTC one certainly feels more futuristic-metal unibody structure is usually not. Galaxy S4 is not quite smooth in its design (it's actually lost a little bit of a curve in the Galaxy S3), but this does not mean, of course, is also a witness. It is also almost exactly the same size as the Galaxy S3, so got quite well from the point of view of the Smartphones currently feel it. it's like the Verizon Droid to the DNA (or HTC (J) Butterfly outside the United States), compared to a little squarish Galaxy S3.

The debate as to whether the metal is better than the plastic will not subside anytime soon, and it is a good thing. HTC has done wonders for the design of the HTC one, and I like it a lot. (Although I think that it is a tad too long for my taste.) Samsung made the very design of the GS3 and GS4 it not rocking the boat too much. There is no real wrong answer here. Try both. If it seems better than the other, then go for it.

I prefer, however, the Galaxy system S4 button. If you are going to have the home button--and all the Android phones do-it must be in the middle. It is the most used button on the phone (next to the power button perhaps). It is in the middle of the phone. Samsung is still my menu button. I'm not crazy about this idea--Google told me already in the app developers to stop planning apps menu buttons in mind--but I'm also a realist. Most of the devs have not updated the app templates and menu button provides you with a better experience than the big black bar you can get apps at the bottom of the HTC phones. Back to the menu and the buttons disappear smartly Galaxy S4 when not in use. Well designed.

What comes on the screen, I have been quite impressed with both. We need more time for the Galaxy S4 100% certain, and done better, Super-LCD-screens for HTC to use over Samsung's Super AMOLED screens. But packing more pixels usually Cures what ails you. Both displays are 1080p, it's kind of a wash for at least a glance. It's going to be interesting how the "customize the display of the Samsung" meaning in everyday use.

We need more time before commenting on the activities of the hardware correctly, but both phones are relatively the same internals. Well, it depends on where you live. In some versions of the Galaxy, the new S4 is Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor, 600--the same as the HTC one--and some of Samsung's new Exynos-5, with eight cores. So we'll have to see. (In addition, we used the Galaxy S4 software was well before production, the less ready than what is HTC One.)

It should be a reminder of the Galaxy-S4 has a removable battery and microSD card slot. If they are important to you, it will help you make your decision.

If we would have to be characterized by HTC and the Samsung software philosophies of one sentence is this: HTC emphasis on design, while the Samsung packs more features. In spite of this, Samsung's "touch" the user interface is further improved. It's still not my favorite UI (I'm more of a stock guy), but it gets better. I need more time for GS4, but I think the TouchWiz can also be a bit more intuitive to use for ordinary consumers. We will have a better read that after using the GS4 real-world scenarios.

HTC One and the Galaxy S4.HTC's big bullet points for the HTC one is the camera (and its UltraPixels, Zoes Video Highlights), BoomSound, (which is an excellent front-facing speakers, Beats Audio, and programming) and BlinkFeed (brings news and updates related to the start box, community service). They are going to be a great marketing points. Samsung's Galaxy-S4 new features may not have the marketing-friendly the same names, but there are so many useful points is pretty damn close to overwhelming. (I recommend that you read the official Galaxy S4 press release full rundown.)

HTC and Samsung overlapping a bit. HTC's "Video Highlights" automatically parses the images and create the highlight films. Samsung is doing the same, "the story of the album." You can copy HTC's BlinkFeed app such as flip chart. But BoomSound is so much hardware, since it is a software and HTC one definitely WINS on this front.

Samsung got more realistic properties, but this does not mean they are not interesting or useful. "Air Hover" and "Air gesture"--thanks to which the mouse with the pointer finger at certain things, preview and Browse items or activities of launch wave--are at least fun, and they may very well change the way you use your phone. Sony experimented with that before, but Samsung is the one to bring the mass market. The same ' S health ", in which the Galaxy-S4 takes apps like Endomondo or run the controller features and makes them conquering TouchWiz will help you keep track of your daily routine. Throw S health-accessories and you have an impressive gym, which is already part of the phone.

Or look at it this way: the software side of the Samsung and HTC, mainly trying to do the same thing-the most common consumers want to personalize phones than you or I. So HTC is BlinkFeed news and social updates, baked into the phone. HTC one, as well as the Galaxy S4 help organize and share pictures. But the Galaxy S4 is so much more fun to have and is light years ahead of the phone and an integral part of your daily routine. They call it "life partner", and perhaps is not so far removed from the latest iteration.

We are not going to solve the controversial issue today. And the people of the Samsung Camp (lots of 'em) and the people in the camp are the HTC. And cool.

What we have experienced so far are a few really good Android smartphones. And you can not buy either of them yet. All the stormy for the likes of the HTC (and other) want to steal the inevitable Samsung Thunder, not that it matters, before we can buy a phone.

You can probably go wrong with either of these phones. Both have merits. A lot of it is personal preference. Nothing wrong with that either. Plastic or metal tubes TouchWiz or sense. A good camera with a lot of features, or a good camera with a lot of different features.

This is not going to be an easy decision.
