AppStore VS Google game!

The latest figures published in the mobile operating system are without appeal, Android team now 80% of smartphones sold worldwide. Happy eating the market shares of Blackberry and Symbian (for those who still something... this OS looks like), size of Android is the slice of the pie of the sales of smartphones.

But this hegemony is true with respect to downloading applications? Remember previously as the AppStore and Google Play has a number of more or less equivalent application (approximately 900 000).

Frikis Android OS with a significant number of applications increases but now that is democratized and used by ' Mr & Mrs toutlemonde', was often associated with the figures are multiplied by ten.

And well unfortunately no, it seems that Google Play is much less visited than the AppStore! Evidenced by this chart which shows that the daily downloads of applications produced by haploid in 2 platform (the AppStore and Google Play Blue rose).

There are however very clearly that Google Play caught the AppStore this summer 2013 in number of downloads per day.

Now compare downloads combined with the following chart:

Here is the AppStore which dominates with one much larger number of downloads since the beginning of the year.

These figures are obviously be taken with a grain of salt because they represent only a fraction of the applications downloaded from the blinds, but allowing to put into perspective the growth of Android and its participation in the mobile applications market.

Note also an excellent infographic published by Kinvey in income generated by applications for 2 blinds.
