Remove duplicate and blank Google + photo albums in Gallery

There is a gallery gone berserk empty and duplicate Google + albums? Don't worry, you're not alone. Implementing Google + instant upload and deep into the Gallery program, as more and more photos you can see the device do not really ... on the device. This all works great until the question and what many people experience is the duplicate, blank, and mislabeled the albums appear in their gallery.

The problem is, there is no way to manage these images in the Gallery, it has to be done on the Web. If you have had problems in the strange albums appear in Photo Gallery, hang tight after the break and see if we can do something about it.

Google+ Photos

Somewhere in the vast scope of Picasa and Google have crossed and photos will not be synchronized correctly on the device. Most of us never used Picasa to proper one time in our lives, but it's still images on your phone and Google + back-end synchronization solution. Even though things seem likely to be a good and fine, if you view the Instant download and album on Google + web interface, the back-end to Picasa albums aren't just copy what you see above.

If you have a empty and duplicated album, they probably will not show up in the Google +. Maybe because it is smart enough to ignore them, or maybe it's just a glitch in the matrix, you're not so sure. You are also not entirely sure how this problem is happening, but we know that you need to go to the Picasa to fix it.

Delete Albums in Picasa

So the "proper" way to get this done is to instead use the Picasa albums. Head to the Picasa Web Albums site at https://picasaweb.google.com/home and click on the "my photos" tab page (thanks to Wendell Seace Google + for pointing this out!). For those who seemingly are sent to Google + and redirection can be problems with some of the cookie in your browser, try this link instead to skip again. At this point you will be presented with all of the albums--blank and otherwise--in chronological order. From here, if you have duplicate instant upload folder, it will be at the top of the 0. Part of the album, click on the top bar on the "actions", then "delete album".

The album is now completely gone from your account and should no longer appear in the phone's Gallery. While you're there, it could be a pretty good spring cleaning. Find duplicate images, duplicates or blank albums and conflicting folders. For example, it really bugs me albums marked in different ways (31/3/2013 versus March 31, 2013) is based on the fact, whether the disk is a post, right, a photo album, or just direct broadcast, which is private. If you feel like cleaning up each of these you can do it.

Once you've gone through all of the album's sprucing up that you need, you can return to the phone to check if everything is aligned. To open the Gallery, where it should be updated automatically if you have a data connection. If not, then press the top right of the overflow settings and select "refresh" and let the re-populate the correct folders of images. If you have removed the actual album, should look at the (relatively) clean the group photos.
